The aim of research :

The goal of this study is a textual and interpretative nature with emerging themes and issues related to the attitudes towards and actual use of LLSs among the target learners. The findings provide practical implications for practitioners, researchers and educational policy makers alike.

The subject of research :

10 English as a foreign language (EFL), teaching staff, including 3 males and 7 females, were between 26 and 50 years of age and their teaching experience ranged from 2 to 20 years at tertiary level. The sampled students were also chosen to reflect the diversity of backgrounds in terms of gender (3 males, 7 females)

The assesment data :

The interview questions for students focussed on their general attitudes and lived experiences of LLSs.

Methodology of research :

This study utilized the conceptual framework of socio-cultural theory, in that learning is a social process where the development of cognition occurs through the interaction with others in a society and also influenced by the culture where an individual is situated.

Discussion :

attribution of success in learning English to several elements, which is a positive perception. This debunks the myth of the absolute power of every single factor in language learning. This has major implications for the teaching profession, that the improvement of LLS needs to go hand in hand with other important tasks, such as stimulation of interest in learning, strengthening of learning determination, and encouragement of learning efforts on the part of teachers.

Conclusion

the need to move forward in language learning strategies that promote students' ability to find what works for them, to overcome or discard old strategies and be flexible in trying new and unfamiliar strategies. Language teaching then moves beyond language learning and related strategies, motivating students to learn skills and to equip students to develop positive strategies that can be used outside higher education and enhance language development as a lifelong process.

This may include the use of technology and personal interests that encourage a desire to learn and develop language acquisition outside of the classroom. Language teaching then moves beyond language learning and related strategies, motivating students to learn skills and to equip students to develop positive strategies that can be used outside of higher education and enhance language development as a lifelong process.

Disadvantages of research in this journal

The shortcomings encountered by the authors in the research is Language learning strategies, particularly in tertiary environments, have moved beyond rote learning, grammar exercises and primary and secondary school approaches to language development. Language learning strategies and processes at the college level today also depend on many factors such as individual talent, perseverance, hard work, and positive attitudes of teachers and students.
